TrainingProgram for Oversea Undergraduate Students in the Discipline of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) (2018)


一、培养目标(Purpose of TrainingProgram

 本专业旨在将来华留学本科生培养成为材料科学与工程领域合格的研究人员或者工程师。通过学习和实践,来华留学生能够系统地了解中国社会文化,具有一定的汉语交流能力,掌握与工程材料、材料加工等相关的基础理论知识和基本实践技能,能够负责设计,生产,检验和测试各种材料,具有独立分析问题、解决问题的能力,毕业后能够从事与材料设计与制造,材料加工,制造及相关领域有关的研究,教育,开发与管理工作。

The major aims cultivate oversea undergraduate students to become the future qualified materials researcher or engineer in the field of materials science and engineering. Through study and practice, the oversea students can systematically understand the Chinese social culture; have a certain ability to communicate in Chinese; master the fundamental theories and basic practical skills materials science and processing technology; can be responsible for designing, producing, examining and testing diverse materials, obtain the ability on analyzing and solving problems independently. After graduation, they can engaged in the research, education, development and management work related to materials designing and producing, materials processing, manufacturing and relative areas etc.

毕业要求(GraduationRequirements

 毕业生应在知识、能力和素质方面满足以下要求:

Graduates are required to meet the following knowledge, ability and quality requirements:

1)遵守中国政府颁布的相关政策法律以及江苏科技大学制定的相关规章制度;正确理解中国社会文化中国文化,尊重中国传统习俗。

Abide by the relevant policies and laws promulgated by the Chinese government, and the rules and regulations of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (JUST); Learn about Chinese social culture correctly and respect the Chinese traditional customs.

2)身体健康,学习努力,具有良好的道德品质;熟练运用文献检索工具,有效地获取相关信息;能够理解并运用材料科学与工程领域内的相关专业中文文献。

Be in good health condition, study hard and have good moral character; Skillfully use the professional literature retrieval tools and effectively obtain the related information; Be able to understand correctly and flexible applicate the related Chinese professional literature in the field of materials science and engineering.

3)在研究和学习中发展科学态度,强调理论与实践相结合。系统熟练掌握材料科学领域的基础理论和知识。

Develop scientific attitude in research and study and stress the combination of theory and practice. Have a good command of basic theories and systematic knowledge in the field of material science and engineering.

4)掌握以物理化学、材料科学基础、材料分析及失效分析等为主要内容的材料科学的基础知识及基本实践技能。具备从事材料基础及分析方面的能力。

Master the basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills of physical chemistry, fundamental of material science, materials testing and materials failure analysis. Have the ability to engage in material fundamental and materials analysis.

5)掌握材料加工工程技术、材料连接、材料焊接性、焊接方法与设备、机械制造技术、焊接结构与设计、焊接检验为主要内容的材料焊接加工及测试方面的基础理论知识及基本实践技能。具有从事材料加工及测试分析方面的能力。

Master the basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills of material processing technology, material joining, materials weldability, welding technology and equipments, mechanical manufacturing technology, welding structure and design, welding testing. Have the ability to engage in material welding processing and test analysis fields.

 对外汉语、工程图学、工程力学、机械制造技术基础、材料科学基础、电工电子技术、材料连接原理、焊接方法与设备、焊接结构与设计、材料焊接性、焊接检验等。

Chinese, Engineering Graphics, Engineering Mechanics, Fundamentals of Mechanical Manufacturing Technology, Fundamental of Material ScienceElectrotechnics and Electronics, Principles of Materials Joining, Welding Technology and Equipments, Welding Structure and Design, Materials Weldability, Welding Testing.

五、核心课程(Core Courses

 汉语、材料科学基础、材料连接原理、材料焊接性、焊接结构与设计、焊接方法与设备。

六、集中性实验实践教学环节

 集中性实验实践教学环节课程见附表1,采用中外学生混班教学模式。

The courses of centrally experimental and practical part refer to Table 1, teaching for mixed class model of home and oversea students.

七、教学语言(Teaching Language

 除集中性实验实践教学环节及汉语课程外,采用全英文授课。

Except the teaching of centrally experimental and practical part, Chinese course, teaching in English all.

学制与学分(Schooling and credits

1、学制(Schooling System

 标准学制为四年。

The standard schooling lasts 4 years.

2、学分要求(Credits Requirements

 须修满130学分,才能毕业。

The oversea students will be granted graduation when they obtain more than 130 credits.

九、学位授予(Degree Award

 毕业生符合江苏科技大学来华留学生学士学位授予条件,经学校学位评定委员会审查通过,授予工学学士学位。

When the students meet the requirements of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (JUST) granting bachelor's degree for oversea students, they will be examined and awarded the Bachelor degree of Engineering by the academic degree evaluation committee of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology.
