  1. 学科简介(Introduction)

化学是自然科学的重要分支,也是化工、材料、生物、制药、环境和能源等其他相关学科的重要学科基础。本学科涵盖了无机化学、有机化学、物理化学、分析化学、环境化学5个二级学科方向。

Chemistry, as an important branch of natural science, is the basis of chemical engineering, materials, biology, pharmacy, environmental, energy and other related subjects. It is composed of five secondary disciplines, including inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry and environmental chemistry.

我校化学学科先后隶属于材料科学与工程学院和环境与化学工程学院,2004年开始招收应用化学专业本科生,2005 年获批应用化学二级学科硕士点, 2011 年获批材料科学与工程博士点和化学工程与技术一级学科硕士点。2014 年“先进材料及加工技术”入选江苏高校优势学科建设工程二期项目重点序列学科。拥有一支知识结构、年龄结构和职称结构合理的学科队伍和先进的教学科研平台。

The discipline of chemistry, which successively belonged to the School of Materials Science and Engineering and the School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering in our university, began to enroll undergraduate students majored in applied chemistry in 2004. The master authorization second-level discipline of Applied Chemistry was approved in 2005. The master authorization first-level discipline of Chemical Engineering and Technology and the doctoral degree authorization discipline of Materials Science and Technology were approved in 2011. In 2014, “Advanced Materials and Processing Technology” was selected as the key sequence discipline of the second phase project of University’s Advantageous Subject Construction Project in Jiangsu Province. It has a discipline team with a reasonable knowledge structure, age structure and professional title structure and an advanced teaching and research platform.

本学科现有专任教师68人,教授15人,副教授(高工)38人,博士63人,具有一年以上留学经历人员35人,专任教师中高职比例67%,博士比例93%,海归比例52%。拥有博士生导师3人,硕士生导师31人,拥有江苏省“青蓝工程”科技创新团队1个,江苏省有突出贡献的中青年专家1人,江苏省“青蓝工程”中青年学术带头人4人和青年骨干教师4人,江苏省“六大人才高峰”资助对象4人,江苏省“333工程”第三层次培养对象3人,江苏省“双创博士”6人,江苏省产业教授2人等各类省级人才培养人选20人次,已形成一支结构合理的学科梯队。

Currently, there are 68 full-time teachers, including 15 professors, 38 associate professors, 63 teachers with doctoral degree, and 35 teachers with more than 1 year overseas experience. We have 3 Ph. D. supervisor, 53 master tutors, 1 technology innovation team of “Qinglan Project” in Jiangsu Province, 1 young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in Jiangsu Province, 4 academic leaders and 4 excellent-young-backbone teachers of “Qinglan Project” in Jiangsu Province, 4 cultivation object of "Six Talent Peaks Project" in Jiangsu Province, 3 third-level cultivation objects of "333 Project" in Jiangsu Province, 6 “Shuangchuang doctors” and 2 industrial professors in Jiangsu Province, forming a reasonable structured discipline echelon.

面向化学学科前沿,结合行业、区域发展需求及我校办学定位与特色,研发了一系列性能优异的新型光电磁热功能材料和绿色环保精细化学品材料,取得了显著的经济效益和社会效益,为国家、社会发展和地方经济建设提供了强有力的人才支撑和贡献。近五年,主持承担国家自然科学基金26项,江苏省自然科学基金、江苏省科技支撑项目等省部级项目43项,其他市厅级和企业委托项目等64项,累计科研经费2205.68万元,师均11.03万元/年。获授权发明专利68件,转让及推广应用35件。科研成果“功能聚氨酯材料的研发及产业化”和“功能金属基配合物材料在化工新材料领域的应用及产业化”分别获2015年中国产学研合作创新成果一等奖及2017年中国产学研合作创新成果奖二等奖,教学成果“Chem+”复合型创新人才培养模式的探索与实践获2017年江苏省教学成果一等奖。

Facing the forefront of chemistry, combining with the needs of industrial and regional development, we have developed a series of new optical electromagnetic functional and environmental-friendly materials with excellent performances, which have achieved remarkable economic and social benefits and provided strong talent support and contribution for national, social development and the economic construction of local government. In the past five years, 26 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 43 provincial/ministerial projects such as Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation, Jiangsu Science and Technology Supporting Project, etc., as well as 64 other municipal, departmental, and enterprise commissioned projects have been conducted in the School. The research funding summarizes up to 220.56 million RMB, with an average of 110,300 RMB/year per teacher. 68 invention patents have been authorized with 35 patents being transferred and promoted. The scientific research achievements of "Development and industrialization of functional polyurethane materials" and "Application and industrialization of functional metal-based complex materials in the field of new chemical materials" won the first and second prizes of China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement in 2015 and 2017, respectively. The teaching achievement of “Exploration and practice of "Chem+" compound innovative talent training model” won the first prize of teaching achievements in Jiangsu Province in 2017.

本学科拥有江苏省基础化学实验教学示范中心,共享材料科学与工程国家级实验教学示范中心, 拥有单晶X射线衍射仪、液质联用仪、气质联用仪、元素分析仪、圆二色谱仪、荧光光谱仪、物理化学吸附仪、气相色谱仪、高效液相色谱仪等1000多万元仪器设备。

The discipline has the Jiangsu Basic Chemistry Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, and shares the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Materials Science and Engineering. Instruments over 10 million RMB are used by teachers and students, including single crystal X-ray diffractometer, liquid-mass spectrometer, GC/MS, elemental analyzer, circular dichroism, fluorescence spectrometer, physical chemical adsorption instrument, gas chromatograph, high performance liquid chromatography, etc.


  1. 培养目标(Program Objectives)

本学科培养具有良好的道德品质和正确的人生观、世界观,身心健康;具有严谨求实的科学态度,良好的实验技能和总结归纳分析科学问题的能力;具有系统、扎实的化学理论基础,具有运用化学知识解决实际问题的能力;熟悉本学科的现代实验合成技术、产品表征的现代研究方法及技术;熟悉学科的研究现状和发展动态;至少掌握一门外国语,具有较强的计算机应用能力;能熟练地阅读本专业外文资料,具有良好的写作能力、进行国际学术交流的能力。能够胜任高等学校、科研院所、企业和其他单位教学、科研和技术管理工作。

The Master students in this discipline shall have a good moral quality and correct outlook on life and the world with sound physical and psychological health. The graduates shall have rigorous and realistic scientific attitude, good experimental skills, and the ability to summarize and analyze scientific problems, together with a systematic and solid foundation of chemical theory and the ability of solving practical problems using chemistry knowledge. They shall be familiar with the modern experimental synthesis technology, modern research methods and techniques for material characterization, the research and development status of the subject, etc. At least one foreign language should be mastered with good computer application ability and the capability of reading & writing foreign language professional materials and international academic communications. The graduates shall be qualified for teaching, researching, and technical management in institutions like universities, research institutes, enterprises, etc.

无机化学

Inorganic Chemistry

着重开展金属有机骨架材料 (MOFs)、 磁电功能分子晶态材料、 纳米材料等功能导向新材料的分子设计、制备工艺、结构测定和谱学表征,并系统研究其负热膨胀性、铁电-介电性质、磁学、光学、电学、吸附及储氢、 催化等方面的性能,并探索功能导向新材料在化工、材料、环境、生物等领域的应用,如气体吸附与分离、工业催化、药物传输等。

This direction focuses on function-oriented new materials, including metal-organic framework materials (MOFs), magnetoelectric molecular crystalline materials, nanomaterials, etc. Molecular design, preparation technology, structure measurement, spectra characterization are conducted, together with the demonstration of different properties, such as negative thermal expansion, ferroelectric-dielectric, magnetic, optical, electrical, catalytic, adsorption and hydrogen storage properties. The potential applications of function-oriented new materials are explored in chemical engineering, material science, environment, biology and other arena.

有机化学

Organic Chemistry

本方向将现代化学化工新的合成技术应用于精细化学品的研究领域,开展新型涂料、高分子乳液、粘合剂、表面活性剂、化工医药中间体等精细化工产品的绿色合成、工艺优化及应用,化工产品的性能分析测试与结构表征等研究。

This field focuses on applying new synthetic technologies of modern chemical and chemical engineering into fine chemical arena. Research on green synthesis, process optimization, and potential applications of fine chemical engineering products, such as new-type paintings, polymeric emulsion, binders, surfactants, medical and chemical intermediates, etc. are carried out. Performance analysis and structural characterization are also conducted for those chemical engineering products.

分析化学

Analytical Chemistry

本学科研究方向着重开展新能源材料,包括晶体硅材料、硫系化合物半导体材料、纳米材料、介电材料、膜材料、电解质材料、储能材料等的研究与开发,以及新型锂离子电池、固体氧化物燃料电池、太阳能电池、超级电容器和海水电池等新能源器件的组装及综合性能评价,并开展绿色替代能源在船舶和海洋工程装备中的应用。

This major emphasizes on research and exploitation of new energy materials, including crystalline silicon, chalcogenide semiconductors, nanomaterials, dielectric materials, film materials, electrolyte materials, energy storage materials, etc. New energy devices, such as lithium-ion batteries, solid oxide fuel cells, solar cells, supercapacitors, seawater batteries, etc. are assembled followed by integrated performance evaluation. Research on green alternative energy and its application in ship and ocean engineering equipment are carried out as well.

物理化学Physical Chemistry


该学科方向属于物理和化学交叉领域。坚持基础研究和应用研究并举,注重与能源、材料、环境等领域的紧密结合与交叉渗透,形成了界面化学、电化学、催化新材料、理论与计算化学等研究方向。

This direction belongs to the interdisciplinary field of physics and chemistry. Adhering to both the basic and applied research, this direction focus on the close integration and cross-infiltration with energy, materials, environment and other fields. Research directions, including interface chemistry, electrochemistry, catalytic new materials, theory and computational chemistry, have been formed.

环境化学Biochemical Engineering


该学科方向属于化学与环境科学的交叉学科领域,是研究有害化学物质在环境介质中的存在、化学特性、环境行为和效应以及环境污染控制的化学原理与方法的科学。在污染控制理论与技术、环境光催化、环境分析化学、环境吸附材料和环境生物化学等领域已形成鲜明的特色。

This direction belongs to the interdisciplinary field of chemistry and environmental science. It is the science of studying the chemical principles and methods of the presence of chemical substances in environmental media, chemical properties, environmental behaviors and effects, and environmental pollution control. Obvious characteristics have been formed in the fields of pollution control theory and technology, environmental photocatalysis, environmental analysis chemistry, environmental adsorption materials and environmental biochemistry.

 学制两年,其中,课程学习时间一般为1年,学位论文形成时间一般为1年,在籍年限累计不超过3年(从入学至毕业),在校攻读时间最短不得少于2年。

The length of schooling is two years, in which the course learning time is generally one year, and the dissertation formation time is generally one year. The accumulated years are not more than three years (from enrollment to graduation), and the minimum time of study in the University is not less than two years.

 在校期间应修满28学分,其中学位课不少于19学分,非学位课不少于9学分。

The oversea graduate students are required to obtain 28 credits, including no less than 19 credits for degree courses, and no less than 9 credits for non-degree courses.

七、科研要求与学位论文(Scientific Research Requirements and Dissertation)

  1. 科研要求(Scientific Research Requirements)

 硕士留学生应按导师要求参加学术活动,同时鼓励发表学术研究论文。

The oversea graduate students shall attend the research activities according to the supervisor’s requirements. At the same time, the discipline encourages the publication of academic papers in related fields.

  1. 学位论文(Dissertation)

 论文可以是学术研究/技术报告,也可以是工程设计或案例分析报告。学位论文可以用英文或中文撰写,相应的提供中文或者英文摘要。

The thesis can be either academic research/technical report, or engineering design or case analysis report. The thesis should be written in either English or Chinese. For the former, the abstract should be written in Chinese; while for the latter, the abstract should be written in English.

八、学位授予(Degree Authorization)

 硕士留学生在申请论文答辩前应符合学分要求。论文答辩通过后授予硕士学位和毕业证书。

The oversea graduate students should meet the credit requirement before applying for the thesis defense. The Master’s degree and the graduation certificate shall be granted after the successful thesis defense.
