一、学科简介(Introduction)

江苏科技大学材料科学与工程学科源于1953年在上海船舶工业学校时期设置的焊接专业。1988年成立焊接与材料系,1993年获得材料加工工程二级学科硕士学位授予权,2003年成立材料科学与工程学院,2006年获得材料科学与工程一级学科硕士学位授予权,2011年获得材料科学与工程一级学科博士学位授予权,2014年建立材料科学与工程博士后科研流动站。目前拥有材料科学与工程博士后科研流动站,一级学科博、硕士点以及下属的材料物理与化学、材料学、材料加工工程等3个专业目录内二级学科博、硕士点,以及材料腐蚀科学与防护技术专业目录外二级学科博士点,拥有1个材料工程硕士领域。建有6个本科专业和方向,其中,焊接技术与工程和金属材料工程分别为国家一流专业和江苏省一流专业建设点。

本学科拥有材料加工工程江苏省“十一五”重点学科、材料科学与工程江苏省“十二五”重点学科、“先进材料及加工技术”省重点序列学科;现为是江苏省优势学科建设工程三期项目,并进入ESI 全球学科排名前 1%拥有江苏省先进焊接技术重点实验室、江苏省现代焊接技术科技公共服务平台、江苏省材料科学与工程实验教学示范中心,教学条件完备,仪器设备先进。本学科拥有学科、职称、学缘、年龄结构合理的高水平教师队伍。本学科主要研究方向涉及新型弧焊电源、船舶高效焊接、新材料及异种材料连接、特种铜合金材料、船舶涂装及保温材料、材料腐蚀与防护等领域。

The discipline of Materials Science and Engineering of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology originated from the specialty of Welding, which was set up by Shanghai Shipbuilding Industry School in 1953. The department of Welding and Material was established in 1988, and the privilege of conferring master degree of the second class discipline of Materials Processing Engineering was obtained in 1993. The School of Materials Science and Engineering was founded in 2003. The privilege of conferring master degree of the first class discipline of Materials Science and Engineering was obtained in 2006, and the doctor degree in 2011. The postdoctoral scientific research stations for Materials Science and Engineering was established in 2014. Now, School of Materials Science and Engineering has the postdoctoral scientific research stations and the first-level discipline of the doctor/master programs of Materials Science and Engineering, which including the second-level disciplines of Materials Physics and Chemistry, Materials Science, Material Processing Engineering, as well as a doctor program of the second-level discipline of Material Corrosion Science and Protection Technology and a master program of Material Engineering. There are 6 undergraduate specialties and directions. The specialty of Welding Technology and Engineering and Metal Material Engineering is the national characteristic specialty and the Jiangsu provincial brand specialty, respectively.

The discipline is the Jiangsu provincial "Eleventh Five-Year" key discipline of Material Processing Engineering and the Jiangsu provincial "Twelfth Five-Year" key discipline of Materials Science and Engineering and the provincial key series of disciplines of “Advanced Materials and Processing Technology”. Now, the discipline is the third phase of Jiangsu Provincial Superior Discipline Construction Project. ESI ranks in the top 1% of global disciplines. It also has the “Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Advanced Welding Technology” and the “Jiangsu Provincial Public Service Platform of Modern Welding Technology” as well as the “Jiangsu Provincial Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Materials Science and Engineering”. There are good teaching conditions and advanced instruments and equipment. The discipline has a high standard teaching staff with excellent specialties, professional titles, reasonable educational background structure and age structure. The research directions of the subject include new type of arc welding power supply, high efficiency welding of ship, connection of new materials and dissimilar materials, special copper alloys, coating and heat preservation material of ship, as well as material corrosion and protection, and so on .

二、培养目标(Program Objectives)

 材料科学与工程领域全日制学术型硕士研究生以培养高层次、高素质、综合性、研究型科研人才为目标。本学科全日制学术型硕士研究生应熟悉本学科的前沿动态和发展动向,具备扎实的材料科学与工程基础理论知识和系统的专业理论知识;掌握相关材料领域从事科学研究所必要的设计、试验、测试、分析、计算机应用等方面的技术;较熟练掌握一门外语;能运用所学的基础理论和专业知识解决实际工程问题,并具有独立解决局部工程技术难题的能力;具备在本学科领域从事工程技术、科学研究、理论教学等方面的工作能力;能做出具有学术价值或应用价值的研究成果。

In the field of Materials Science and Engineering, high level, high quality, comprehensive, research and scientific research talented person is the goal of the training program. He should be familiar with the frontier dynamic and development trend of this subject, has solid theoretical knowledge of Materials Science and Engineering theory and systematic knowledge of professional theory, master the necessary technology of design, experiment, test, analysis and computer application of scientific research in the field of related materials, proficient to master a foreign language, to solve practical engineering problems by using the basic theory and professional knowledge, and has the ability to solve local engineering problems independently, to work in engineering technology, scientific research, theory teaching and other aspects in this field, can make research results with both academic value and application value.

1. 学制(School System

 两年制,可根据学校相关文件适当延长,最长年限不超过4年。

 留学生毕业前必须修满28学分,其中,必修课不少于19学分,选修课不少于9学分。

七、科研要求与学位论文(Scientific Research Requirements and Dissertation)

1. 科研要求(Scientific Research Requirements)

 留学生应当按照导师安排进行科研活动。如果能在相关领域发表一篇论文,其毕业答辩成绩可得优。

The oversea graduate students shall attend the research activities according to the supervisor’s requirements. He can be able to obtain A for the defense if having one academic paper published in the related area.

2.学位论文(Dissertation)

 学位论文可以是学术研究/技术报告;或者是特定专题调查报告;工程设计或者案例分析报告。

 学位论文可以用英文或者中文编写,对于前者,摘要必须用中文写;对于后者,则要英文。

The thesis can be either academic research/technical report or the survey for a particular subject, engineering design or case analysis report.

The thesis should be written in either English or Chinese. For the former, the abstract should be written in Chinese; while for the latter, the abstract should be written in English.

八、学位授予(Degree Authorization)

 留学生在申请答辩前必须修满学分。其学位和证书在答辩通过后获得。

The oversea graduate students should meet the credit requirement before applying for the thesis defense. The Master’s degree and the graduation certificate shall be granted after the successful thesis defense.
